Subd. 2. A person is guilty of a gross misdemeanor who: (1) willfully violates a provision of this chapter or order of the commissioner; (2) engages in the business of drilling or making wells, sealing wells, installing pumps or pumping equipment, or constructing elevator borings without a license required by this chapter; or (3) engages in the business of exploratory boring without an exploratory borer's license under this chapter. Subdivision 1. A person who violates a provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor.
