(a) It is unlawful for: (1) any person to knowingly deliver or cause to be delivered to a common carrier alcoholic beverages under a false title, name, brand, or trademark; or (2) any person, or a common carrier, or an agent of either to knowingly receive a fraudulent shipment under clause (1). (b) A peace officer may examine the books and way bills of a common carrier for the purpose of tracing a fraudulent shipment to a shipper or receiver.
