Guardians and conservators of persons required to register shall have the authority to complete all verification and registration paperwork under this section and section 243.167 on the person's behalf. A validly executed power of attorney under chapter 523 grants the attorney in fact the authority to complete all verification and registration paperwork under this section and section 243.167 on behalf of a person required to register.
