(a) A person may not take wild animals with a firearm or by archery: (1) when the person is under the influence of alcohol; (2) when the person is under the influence of a controlled substance, as defined in section 152.01, subdivision 4; (3) when the person is under the influence of a combination of any two or more of the elements in clauses (1), (2), and (7); (4) when the person's alcohol concentration is 0.08 or more; (5) when the person's alcohol concentration as measured within two hours of the time of taking is 0.08 or more; (6) when the person is under the influence of an intoxicating substance as defined in section 169A.03, subdivision 11a, and the person knows or has reason to know that the substance has the capacity to cause impairment; or (7) when the person is under the influence of cannabis flower, a cannabis product, a lower-potency hemp edible, a hemp-derived consumer product, an artificially derived cannabinoid, or tetrahydrocannabinols, as those terms are defined in section 342.01. (b) An owner or other person having charge or control of a firearm or bow may not authorize or permit an individual the person knows or has reason to believe is under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, as provided under paragraph (a), to possess the firearm or bow in this state or on a boundary water of this state. (c) A person may not possess a loaded or uncased firearm or an uncased bow afield under any of the conditions in paragraph (a)
