(a) Under an aquatic farm license, a licensee may take only minnow sperm, minnow eggs, and live minnows for aquatic farm purposes from a water body if: (1) the water body has been tested for viral hemorrhagic septicemia and the testing indicates the disease is not present; or (2) the water body is located within a viral-hemorrhagic-septicemia-free zone posted on the Department of Natural Resources website. (b) A licensee may take sucker eggs and sperm only in approved waters with a sucker egg license endorsement as provided by section 17.4994.
